RADIATION THERAPIST

Full Time and Part Time / PRN positions available

Responsible for accurately delivering the planned radiation therapy course prescribed for patients of all age groups. This includes performing simulation, mold room duties, treatment, quality assurance, dosimetry, and providing nursing assistance as requested by the Radiation Oncologist. All responsibilities are carried out in accordance with department, hospital, and regulatory agency standards. The Radiation Therapist must assess situations, exercise care, and use discretion and judgment to make professional decisions in the best interest of the patient.

Qualifications:

• Satisfactory completion of a formal education program in radiation therapy or a minimum of 1 year of experience
• National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
• California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire or
• California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire
