Qualifications:
•Candidates must possess registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with a preference for CT registry (ARRT).
•Must hold a valid Ohio Department of Health Radiologic License.
•BLS certification is required within 30 days of employment.
Hours and Compensation:
•Position entails full-time hours, from 7am-7pm, with rotating weekends and holidays. Shifts may be 8, 10, or 12 hours in length.
•Hourly wage range is $26.89-$38.99, depending on experience.
•Comprehensive benefits package offered, including a sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities:
•Perform CT procedures to produce diagnostic images, while providing patient care and education during the process.
•Conduct routine and emergent CT procedures, ensuring proper utilization of imaging equipment, accessories, and contrast agents. Adhere to radiation safety standards and department protocols.
•Prepare patients and examination rooms for imaging procedures, assisting patients with appropriate attire. Foster a friendly, comforting, and secure atmosphere for all patients. Provide relevant education to patients and their families regarding the imaging procedure.
•Maintain and update patient, department, and hospital records manually and electronically. Perform necessary data entry and clerical tasks as required. Responsible for inventory management and stocking of department supplies.
•Perform equipment quality control as per department protocol. Conduct routine cleaning and preventative maintenance. Identify and report any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel or department.
•Act as backup for general Radiology procedures and be available to be on call outside of regular working hours.
