What we're seeking:
•Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
•Ohio Department of Health Radiologic License is required.
•BLS certification within 30 days of employment is mandatory.
Hours and compensation:
•This is a full-time position with a schedule of 3pm-11pm, including every other weekend and rotating holidays.
•Hourly pay ranges between $26.00 and $36.50, depending on experience.
•A comprehensive benefits package, including a sign-on bonus of $15,000, is offered.
•In this role, you will perform radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures to produce diagnostic images. You will also provide patient care and education during procedures, while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
•You will be responsible for performing routine, emergent, operative, and mobile radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging procedures. This includes correctly using imaging equipment, related accessories, and contrast agents, as well as upholding radiation safety standards and department protocols.
•Additionally, you will prepare patients and exam rooms for imaging procedures, help patients with appropriate dressing, and create a comfortable, friendly, and secure atmosphere. You will also provide education to patients and their families about imaging procedures.
•Maintaining patient, department, and hospital records (both manual and computerized) will be part of your responsibilities, along with performing data entry and clerical tasks as needed. You will also be responsible for ordering and stocking department supplies, performing equipment quality control, and maintaining cleanliness and preventative maintenance. Recognizing and reporting malfunctions is also important.
•You may also have the opportunity to cross-train and work in the CT area, as well as be available for on-call duties outside of normal working hours.
