  • POSITION SUMMARY:
  • We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform various technical radiographic assignments. The ideal candidate must possess advanced skills, judgment, and knowledge of Radiologic Technology principles and methods. Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic radiographic studies as requested, operating portable diagnostic radiographic equipment, and adhering to infection control protocols. In addition, the Radiologic Technologist must be capable of providing care to patients of all age groups, including infants, children, adults, and geriatric patients.
  • EDUCATION:
  • Minimum Requirements:
  • Completion of an AMA approved 2-year Radiology Technology program or possession of an AAS degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • LICENSE:
  • Minimum Requirement:
  • Valid NYS license as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum Requirement:
  • Current ARRT certification.
  • WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum Requirements:
  • Completion of a 24-month course from an AMA approved school in Radiology. Extensive knowledge of all technical areas of Diagnostic Radiology is essential.
  • Preferred:
  • 1-2 years' experience in relevant radiology fields.
  • SKILLS:
  • Minimum Requirements:
  • Maintain at least 12 Continuing Education Credits (CEC) per year in the field of Radiology Technology.
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle confidential information discreetly and interact with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Proven capacity to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and promote teamwork through effective role modeling.
  • Proficiency in computer usage is required.
