Real Estate Transactions Associate
Location: Atlanta, GA
We are recruiting for a highly skilled associate to join our real estate transactions team in Atlanta. This role provides an exciting opportunity for an attorney specializing in real estate law to contribute to a diverse range of development, investment, and transactional matters.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate:
- Must have a JD from a well-regarded law school with a strong academic track record.
- Should be admitted to the bar in Georgia, or willing to pursue admission.
- Should have at least 2 years of meaningful experience in real estate law, including working on the acquisition, leasing, and development of commercial properties in various asset classes.
- Experience representing national and regional investors, developers, and corporate tenants is preferred.
- Prior exposure in the retail/shopping center industry would be advantageous.
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills are essential.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage complex real estate transactions, such as acquisitions, leasing, and development of properties in retail, restaurant, office, mixed-use, and industrial sectors.
- Represent national retailers, private equity firms, and institutional investors in large-scale commercial real estate projects.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys across the country, providing comprehensive legal services to clients in various industries.
- Ensure efficient management of legal projects, paying attention to detail and executing transactions strategically.
