Our esteemed client, a leading law firm in the AmLaw 100, is currently seeking a proficient Real Estate Associate to join their esteemed Real Estate department based in South Florida. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to be a part of a dynamic team and work on intricate commercial real estate transactions.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Graduate from a top-tier law school with a distinguished academic record (JD).
- Admitted to the Florida Bar or willingness to undertake the Florida Bar exam.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial real estate development and acquisitions at a medium-sized or large law firm.
- Proficient in drafting purchase and sale agreements, conducting title and survey reviews, preparing closing documents, negotiating loan agreements, and managing all aspects of real estate transactions.
- Exceptional writing, analytical, and communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Represent regional and national clients in diverse commercial real estate transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development, and leasing of various property types.
- Draft and negotiate relevant transactional documents including purchase and sale agreements, loan agreements, and other related contracts.
- Conduct thorough title and survey reviews, oversee closing processes, and collaborate with clients to ensure their business objectives are achieved.
- Work alongside an accomplished team of attorneys who are regarded as industry leaders in the field of commercial real estate.
