Associate – Real Estate Finance Attorney

Our client, a highly-regarded national law firm, is in search of a talented and driven Associate to join their esteemed Real Estate Finance team in Dallas.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a prestigious law school with a stellar academic background.
• Admitted to practice law in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of 4-6 years of substantial experience in real estate finance, including the negotiation and drafting of loan documents and conducting due diligence for real estate loan closings.
• Experience in handling recapitalizations, joint ventures, and various corporate and financial transactions.
• Demonstrated expertise in working with CMBS lenders, special and master servicers, commercial banks, insurers, and private lenders.
• Prior experience in an AmLaw 200 firm is highly desirable.
• Proficient in intricate legal drafting.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Represent clients involved in real estate financing, acquisitions, and dispositions across a wide range of asset types, such as retail, industrial, multifamily, healthcare, and hospitality.
• Negotiate and prepare loan documents, examine due diligence materials, and offer strategic legal advice on transactions.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys on complex real estate finance matters.
