Real Estate Associate Attorney

Our client, a leading national law firm, is searching for a highly-qualified and driven Associate or Of Counsel attorney with a minimum of 6 years of experience in real estate to join their esteemed Real Estate group in Dallas.

Applicant Profile:

• JD from a well-regarded law school with an outstanding academic background.
• Texas Bar Admission.
• 6+ years of substantial experience in real estate finance and collaborative ventures.

• Real Estate Collaborative Ventures: Representing established equity investors and builders in joint endeavors involving the procurement or development of residential, industrial, refrigerated storage, and other types of commercial real estate. Preferred qualifications would include leading drafting and negotiation responsibilities in these types of ventures.

• Real Estate Financing: Representing institutional borrowers in construction and long-term real estate financings, encompassing debt fund, structured finance, and CMBS-style financings of residential, industrial, refrigerated storage, and other types of commercial real estate (including those with mezzanine finance and other capital stack components). Preferred qualifications would include leading drafting and negotiation responsibilities in these types of loans.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Advocate for established equity investors and builders in collaborative ventures for the procurement and development of residential, industrial, refrigerated storage, and other commercial real estate assets.
• Take the lead in drafting and negotiating real estate financing deals, encompassing construction and long-term financings, debt fund, structured finance, and CMBS-style loans.
• Collaborate on high-profile projects that involve complex capital stack components, including mezzanine finance.
