Recruiter for Doctors of Veterinary Medicine

Location: Philadelphia, PA

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Physician Talent Scout to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and evaluating external Veterinary Medicine candidates across the country. You will utilize various recruitment techniques, including partnering with universities and professional associations, to attract highly talented individuals to join our organization.

As a Talent Scout, you will engage with candidates and collaborate closely with internal client groups throughout the recruitment and selection process. Additionally, you will provide coaching and advice to internal clients to guide decision making during the recruitment process.


  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager to execute the recruitment process
  • Identify and scout talented candidates nationwide to build a scalable candidate pipeline
  • Implement creative sourcing strategies and practices, utilizing various social media platforms
  • Maintain a well-organized pipeline of candidates
  • Contribute to digital and print marketing efforts to advertise job postings and build the candidate pipeline
  • Participate in career fairs, professional association events, and other recruiting opportunities
  • Create and deliver offer letters to selected candidates
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager and company leaders to understand staffing needs
  • Maintain relationships with external recruitment partners
  • Work closely with other Veterinary Physician Recruiters to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process for candidates


  • Prior experience in full cycle recruiting
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint. Experience with ADP Workforce Now or other HCM systems.


Occasional travel for career fairs, professional association events, and job fair participation.
