Summary:
As the Regional Director of Clinical, you will provide comprehensive guidance, oversight, and leadership to the Directors of Nursing in the four facilities within your designated region.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Licenses/Certification:
  • Valid nursing license for the state(s) within the assigned region.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in long-term care and operational management.

Job Functions:

  • Coordinate and monitor survey preparedness.
  • Conduct Mock surveys in each facility in anticipation of official surveys.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Plan of Corrections for both Mock and State Surveys.
  • Be present on-site to support the Directors of Nursing during the survey process.
  • Review and update policies and procedures.
  • Regularly monitor quality indicators and identify trends and issues concerning individual residents.
  • Collaborate on the implementation of action plans to address identified trends and issues.
  • Host weekly conference calls to review risk management events in the facilities.
  • Be available at all times to respond to phone calls during critical events.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in RUG levels and PPD system.
  • Perform audits as required.
  • Deliver formal education sessions to the Directors of Nursing regularly.
  • Provide necessary education and guidance to directors and staff nurses when significant events occur.
  • Perform any other assigned duties as required.

  • Extensive knowledge of nursing practices and techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with management and employees.
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and conciseness.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of all information.
