Regional Technical Director
Job Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities of the Regional Technical Director include:
- Leading a team of primary project managers who are responsible for planning, budgeting, and executing capital projects for facility expansion and production line improvement.
- Supporting the Directors of Operations in developing their capital budgets.
- Coordinating additional engineering resources as needed.
Within this role, you will:
- Supervise construction sites and ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines.
- Recruit and train a skilled technical team proficient in mechanical, electrical, industrial, and process engineering.
- Provide support for process evaluation, identify optimal strategies, and implement changes to enhance quality and cost-efficiency.
- Train project managers, construction managers, and other relevant personnel in effective project management techniques.
- Serve as the Plant Engineer for a cook plant located in Perry, GA.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural, Civil, or Structural Engineering, along with at least 12 years of relevant work experience. Specific requirements include:
- Technical expertise in construction, refrigeration, poultry processing equipment, project management, and equipment layout.
- Proven problem-solving, negotiation, and people management skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines.
- This role requires frequent visits to plant and project sites, with approximately 20% travel expected.
