Our client—a leading and rapidly growing manufacturer of metal, fiberglass, and wood components—is looking for a Regional Production Operations Manager to lead and optimize operations across two key facilities: one in the Memphis, TN area and another just an hour away in Mississippi.

In this high-impact role, you'll drive operational excellence across both sites, managing production goals, improving efficiency, and leading two experienced Plant Managers.


💼 Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic production plans aligned with company goals

  • Oversee daily operations across two manufacturing sites

  • Drive performance in production scheduling, staffing, equipment use, and resource planning

  • Ensure production targets, safety standards, and quality benchmarks are consistently met

  • Analyze production metrics and lead process improvement initiatives

  • Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to increase efficiency

  • Coach and develop production leaders and staff across both plants

  • Partner with cross-functional teams: sales, supply chain, engineering, etc.

  • Manage regional budgets, control operational costs

  • Ensure full compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations


🎓 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations management

  • Strong leadership background with multi-site management experience

  • Deep knowledge of inventory planning and control

  • Proficient in SAP and production planning/scheduling systems

  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices

  • Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
