Regional Sales Manager

Location: Boston, MA

We are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our team at our Boston, MA office. As a leading manufacturer of marking equipment, we focus on delivering cutting-edge solutions to various industries such as manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and electronics. With our innovative products, we help businesses achieve precision, efficiency, and traceability in their product marking processes. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, building strong customer relationships, and showcasing the technical capabilities of our marking systems within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and Executing Sales Strategies:

· Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional targets and business objectives for our marking systems.

· Identify new business opportunities and expand relationships with existing clients.

· Conduct demonstrations of our marking systems to showcase their features and benefits.

· Collaborate with our Business Development and Inside Sales teams to manage the entire sales cycle.

· Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing and technical support, to ensure customer satisfaction.

Technical Expertise:

· Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of our marking systems, staying updated with product advancements.

· Provide technical guidance to customers and showcase the value of our solutions.

· Collaborate with the technical support team to ensure customer satisfaction after the sale.

Market Analysis:

· Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, competition, and potential customers.

· Analyze customer needs and market demands to adapt sales strategies and stay competitive.

Customer Relationship Management:

· Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions.

· Act as a technical advisor, offering expert guidance on our marking system applications.

Sales Forecasting and Reporting:

· Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports, providing regular updates to senior management.

· Utilize Salesforce to track customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progression.

Desired Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics preferred.

· Willingness to travel extensively, with 75% or more of your time spent on the road.

· Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM tool is a plus.

· Sandler sales training is a plus.

· Highly motivated with strong organizational and communication skills.

· Valid driver's license required.
