Regional Sales Manager

Location: Savannah, GA

Our client, a manufacturer of industrial machinery located in Savannah, GA, is seeking a Territory Sales Supervisor to help drive sales and provide excellent service to their customers.

Our client is a leading provider in the industrial machinery industry, specializing in cutting-edge technology for various sectors such as automotive, aerospace, and electronics. Their innovative solutions enable businesses to achieve accuracy, efficiency, and traceability in their production processes. As they expand their market presence, we are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Territory Sales Supervisor to drive sales, build strong customer relationships, and showcase the technical capabilities of their machinery within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Execution:

· Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and business objectives for the machinery products.

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing clients.

· Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of the machinery.

· Collaborate with the Business Development and Inside Sales teams to manage the entire sales cycle.

· Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing and technical support, to ensure customer satisfaction.

Technical Expertise:

· Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of the machinery products, staying updated on technological advancements.

· Provide technical guidance to customers, addressing inquiries and highlighting the value of the machinery solutions.

· Collaborate with the technical support team to ensure seamless integration and customer satisfaction.

Market Analysis:

· Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, competitor analysis, and potential customers.

· Analyze customer needs and market demands to adjust sales strategies and remain competitive.

Customer Relationship Management:

· Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their unique requirements and providing customized solutions.

· Offer expert guidance on machinery applications and benefits as a technical advisor.

Sales Forecasting and Reporting:

· Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports, providing regular updates to senior management on performance and market trends.

· Utilize Salesforce or a similar CRM system to track and manage sales activities and customer interactions.


· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Additional MBA is preferred.

· Proven track record of success in B2B sales, particularly in the industrial or manufacturing sector.

· Experience selling industrial machinery, capital equipment, or related technologies is highly desirable.

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a sales team.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

· Strategic thinking and proactive problem-solving approach.

· Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
