Position Overview
The Regional Project Scheduler plays a key role in managing all scheduling activities for assigned projects. This senior-level role may serve as the lead scheduler on large commercial projects or manage smaller projects independently. You will work closely with project teams and trade partners to develop, monitor, and maintain detailed project schedules, helping to eliminate design discrepancies and optimize project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of baseline schedules using clearly defined, sequenced work activities.

  • Collaborate with project teams and trade partners to produce and refine detailed schedules.

  • Create conceptual schedules independently for team discussion and refinement.

  • Track and monitor design deliverables, procurement timelines, and construction progress.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of project schedules, forecasts, and reports.

  • Evaluate and validate schedule updates from vendors and subcontractors.

  • Analyze schedule variances, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.

  • Understand project logistics and execution flow to develop realistic timelines.

  • Support project managers with progress updates, issue resolution, and planning adjustments.

  • Maintain a database of typical durations for key activities and overall project phases.

  • Develop and manage progress measurement systems and alternative scheduling scenarios.

  • Assist with continuous improvement efforts related to schedule performance and accuracy.

  • Perform additional scheduling-related duties as required by project management.

Required Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction scheduling.

  • Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and ERP cost management tools.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word).

  • Solid understanding of construction methods across multiple disciplines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities with attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Administration (preferred).

  • Experience with 3D modeling and its integration into scheduling (preferred).
