Registered Dietician

Registered Dietitian (IDT)
Location: San Bernardino, CA
Compensation: $75,000–$90,000 + Bonus + Full Benefits + Signing Bonus

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team and lead the development and implementation of our nutrition services program. Working closely with an interdisciplinary team (IDT), the Registered Dietitian will deliver direct nutrition care to participants while also overseeing food service operations to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments to determine participant needs, preferences, and goals.

  • Actively participate in IDT meetings to help develop individualized participant care plans.

  • Provide direct nutrition interventions, including special diet implementation, ongoing monitoring, and counseling for participants and their families.

  • Develop and oversee menu planning and meal service delivery to ensure safety, compliance, and adherence to participant-specific dietary requirements.

  • Manage and mentor nutrition staff, including hiring, training, and performance oversight.

  • Collaborate with food and supplement service providers to ensure quality and consistency in meal programs.

  • Support the intake and enrollment process by assisting prospective participants through timely evaluations and approvals.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Dietitian with a minimum of four (4) years of experience directing nutrition services in a similar healthcare or senior-focused environment.

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / First Aid certification required.

  • Reliable transportation is required for site visits and related responsibilities.

  • Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills, particularly in working with seniors, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.

  • At least one (1) year of experience working with frail or elderly populations.
