  • Collaborate with the Nutrition Services Manager to provide high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement Multidisciplinary Care Plans for patients
  • Create Nutritional Assessments and Care Plans
  • Evaluate patients who are at nutritional risk and recommend appropriate interventions
  • Assist in meal preparation and distribution


  • Flexible working hours: choose between 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Task completion is prioritized over strict schedules
  • Long-term care facility setting
  • Daily morning meetings at 9:00 AM
  • Weekly task lists provided for efficient planning
  • Team meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday for enhanced collaboration
  • Monthly rounds for meals, weight changes, and skin notes
  • Encouragement for employees to effectively plan their days
  • Results-oriented approach with supportive managerial guidance



  • Minimum requirement: Bachelor's degree in Dietetics along with completion of 1-year internship or equivalent


  • Minimum requirement: Licensed by the state of New York in Dietetics and Nutrition
  • Registered with The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics


  • Minimum requirement: Experience in diet therapy and food service management in a healthcare facility


  • Minimum requirements:
    • Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility for providing excellent nutritional care to assigned customers
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within time constraints
    • Effective collaboration with other disciplines and operational team members within the Nutrition Services Department
    • Ability to think independently and make sound judgments
    • Effective prioritization of work assignments
    • Strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information
    • Professional and courteous communication with the public
    • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
    • Promotion of teamwork through positive role modeling
    • Proficient computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint


  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
