Labor & Delivery Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Labor & Delivery unit for night shifts. In this rewarding role, you’ll provide expert, patient-centered care to expectant mothers and their families throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. You’ll work closely with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of both mother and baby.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough assessments of laboring patients, monitoring both maternal and fetal health.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.

• Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate patterns and maternal vital signs, responding appropriately to changes.

• Administer medications, pain management techniques, and prescribed treatments.

• Support patients and their families emotionally and educationally during the birthing process.

• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, providing skilled nursing care throughout.

• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the care team to ensure the best outcomes.

• Respond promptly and competently to obstetric emergencies.

• Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold hospital policies and standards.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Associate’s Degree or higher in Nursing.

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Fetal Monitoring certifications.

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).

Preferred:

• At least one (1) year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary Range: $65,000 – $82,000 annually, commensurate with experience

• Signing Bonus: $20,000

• Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000
