UNIT OVERVIEW: Our Labor and Delivery unit consists of 20 beds, including 3 triage rooms, 7 LDRs, 2 ORs, 3 PACU bays, and 5 observation beds. We are a high-risk obstetrical unit with access to a Level III+ NICU.

JOB SUMMARY: As a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery, you will provide safe and age-appropriate patient care. You will also serve as a valuable resource and advisor for patients and their families, working collaboratively as a member of the patient care team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic professional knowledge, with equivalent to a Bachelor's degree, and a solid understanding of theory and practice in a specialized field
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from CCNE accredited schools
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Labor and Delivery RN
• Current Maryland Registered Nurse License
• American Heart Association BLS Certification
• Specialty Certification is preferred

SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- Active RN License
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an RN in Labor and Delivery
