We are currently seeking a Regulatory Compliance Manager to oversee accreditation and regulatory compliance efforts across the entire healthcare system. Reporting to a highly regarded Director of Corporate Integrity, this position plays a pivotal role in ensuring continuous survey readiness and system-wide compliance with ACHC, CARF, CMS, and state regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead system-wide regulatory and accreditation compliance for all inpatient and outpatient services

• Ensure continuous readiness and successful survey outcomes for ACHC, CARF, CMS, and the Ohio Department of Health

• Oversee compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local healthcare regulations

• Direct and support Imprivata platform implementation and usage, enhancing identity management, clinician workflows, and HIPAA compliance

• Prepare and submit all accreditation documentation for hospital-based services and facilities

• Conduct regulatory gap analyses and lead the development of action plans and post-survey corrective measures

• Supervise the Accreditation Planning Team, providing updates and education to leadership and staff on evolving regulatory standards

• Maintain collaborative relationships with accrediting bodies, internal stakeholders, and medical leadership

• Deliver training and presentations on compliance standards and best practices

• Conduct internal audits and research regulatory changes, reporting findings to senior leadership

• Participate in and lead committees to promote awareness of regulatory expectations and improvements

• Provide strategic guidance to compliance staff and foster a culture of accountability and regulatory excellence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Ohio

• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in healthcare compliance, accreditation, or quality management, with leadership responsibilities

• Strong understanding of accreditation processes and standards (ACHC, CARF, CMS)

• Experience with healthcare identity management platforms, preferably Imprivata

• Proven leadership, analytical, and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
