Exciting opportunity for a Remote Tax & Bookkeeping Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior (Title could be Tax Supervisor for a strong candidate) to join our progressive and profitable CPA firm. This position can be fully remote or hybrid, depending on your preference. Our firm is located in the beautiful city of Phoenix, AZ.

If you have 3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience and possess a strong background in preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts, then we want to hear from you. Experience in financial statement preparation, full charge bookkeeping, and year-end tax planning is highly desired. Knowledge in retirement planning and multi-state tax compliance would be a big plus.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to meet with clients, work independently, and think creatively in the planning process. Researching and providing solutions for complex tax issues will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will need to stay up-to-date with changes in the tax code.

To succeed in this position, you should have strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. Proficiency in Ultratax and Microsoft Suite is desired. Our firm is known for its long-term staff members and we value a close-knit and supportive work environment.
