Position Overview

Location: Spokane, WA
Schedule: Full-time, night shift, 36 hours per week

The Respiratory Care Practitioner plays an essential role in delivering high-quality respiratory care services. This role requires a deep understanding of current respiratory therapy practices and close collaboration with physicians and nursing staff to implement individualized patient care plans.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting physicians with respiratory therapy treatments

  • Operating and maintaining advanced ventilatory support systems and monitoring equipment

  • Performing patient assessments and diagnostic procedures

  • Administering oxygen therapy and other respiratory interventions

  • Participating in department and unit-specific orientations

  • Supporting overall patient care activities within the scope of qualifications

Qualifications

  • Completion of education required for certification, licensing, or registration

  • Valid Washington State Respiratory Care Practitioner License (upon hire)

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire)
