Retail Pharmacist (PharmD / BPharm)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Saturday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time


Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing patient counseling, and ensuring strict adherence to pharmacy laws and regulations. You’ll collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver the highest standard of care and play a key role in supporting community health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately dispense medications and verify dosages, potential drug interactions, and contraindications

  • Provide clear and compassionate counseling to patients regarding medication usage, adherence, and side effects

  • Ensure full compliance with all federal and state pharmacy regulations and standards

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes

  • Oversee and support pharmacy technicians and staff to maintain smooth and efficient operations

  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including documentation for controlled substances

  • Manage pharmacy inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and ensuring timely restocking

  • Administer immunizations as permitted by state law and certification

  • Stay updated on new medications, industry developments, and best practices

  • Deliver outstanding customer service while upholding professional ethics and confidentiality


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)

  • Licensure: Current and valid Pharmacist license in the state of New York (required)

  • Experience: Prior experience in a retail or community pharmacy setting preferred

  • In-depth knowledge of prescription medications, pharmacy operations, and disease management

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and manage multiple responsibilities effectively

  • Proficient in pharmacy management systems and electronic health records
