RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
The Retail Renovation Supervisor will oversee multiple ongoing retail projects. They will be responsible for managing all site construction activities, including coordinating field and subcontractor personnel, ensuring the project is completed on schedule and within budget. The supervisor will also prioritize quality workmanship, enforce construction safety practices, and ensure the successful closure of projects. This role requires travel within the Carolinas, Georgia, or Eastern TN and occasional night work.

• Coordinate and supervise construction activities
• Ensure completion of the project on schedule, within budget, and with high-quality workmanship
• Maintain construction schedule and identify/solve problems
• Order materials and schedule necessary inspections
• Understand project plans and specifications
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and employees
• Prepare daily reports, safety reports, schedules, and final punch lists
• Promote job site safety and rectify hazards
• Monitor compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Conduct weekly progress meetings with all trades
• Review job cost reporting and assist Project Manager in budget control
• Review subcontractor scopes of work and provide feedback to Project Manager
• Plan staging and manage site logistics
• Collaborate with Project Manager in scheduling pre-construction meetings
• Review submittals for compliance and coordination
• Ensure the implementation of high-quality work by crafts, suppliers, and contractors

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4 to 6 years of experience supervising remodel or upfit projects
• Strong background in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, safety, and production in all construction phases
• Experience in Retail Remodel or Retail Upfit for Publix and/or Walmart
