Revenue Cycle Provider Billing (Hospital - Physician Billing)
Location: Buckeye Lake, OH
Employment Type: Full-time (Hybrid – Onsite 3–4 times per month)

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in physician billing and healthcare revenue cycle operations.

• Past leadership experience with a strong background in Epic systems.

• Comprehensive knowledge of patient registration, billing, accounts receivable, cash management, managed care contracts, and healthcare revenue cycle standards.

• Ability to lead and manage a diverse team in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

• Strong team-building and leadership skills with the ability to provide clear direction and contribute individually as needed.

• Experience interpreting third-party payer contracts and developing compliant billing procedures.

• Skilled in negotiating with insurance vendors, medical directors, and third-party payers to support denial management processes.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with physicians, office personnel, case managers, and payer representatives to ensure a smooth revenue cycle process.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range: $75,000 – $80,000, depending on experience.

• Full benefits package offered (medical, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, etc.).

• Hybrid schedule: Primarily remote with 3–4 onsite visits per month (within a 1–1.5-hour drive preferred).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and actively participate in revenue cycle operations for both hospital and medical group billing functions.

• Plan, organize, and direct patient accounting activities across billing, follow-up, and denial management processes.

• Oversee daily department operations, set work schedules, monitor team performance, resolve technical issues, and train staff.

• Lead a high-performing team, ensuring billing accuracy and optimizing revenue cycle efficiency.

• Collaborate with leadership to support fiscal goals and continuous operational improvements.

Additional Information:

• Reports directly to the Director of Revenue Cycle, a respected leader within the organization.

• Supervises approximately 28 team members within the Physician Billing Department.
