Antepartum Registered Nurse (B-3227513) - Seattle, WA

Position Type: Full Time (36 Hour Weeks)

  • Shift: Night Shift
  • Duration: 12 Hour Shifts
  • Hiring Bonus and Relocation: $20,000 Hiring Bonus and relocation assistance provided for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment


At this role, you will apply your specialized training to provide outstanding healthcare with a personal touch, making a meaningful difference through your exceptional care every day.


Nursing Professional Practice:

  • Assess and determine appropriate nursing diagnoses.
  • Create and execute patient care plans.
  • Develop, revise, and coordinate patient care plans to achieve goals and optimize outcomes across the continuum of care.
  • Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions as necessary.
  • Maintain essential skills specific to the hired area and the populations served.

Patient Advocacy:

  • Advocate for ethical and holistic care by promoting patient autonomy, dignity, rights, values, and beliefs through care planning partnerships.

Facilitating Learning:

  • Create a conducive learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team, including students.
  • Facilitate formal and informal learning opportunities for patients, families, healthcare team members, and the community.

Ensuring Safety and Quality:

  • Ensure accountability for safety, identify and address issues, and integrate evidence-based practices into nursing care.
  • Utilize data and evidence to enhance patient outcomes and prioritize patient, self, and environmental safety equally.

Professional Development:

  • Pursue ongoing professional development, practicing to the full extent of your license within the legal parameters defined by the Nurse Practice Act, the Nursing Social Policy Statement, the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses, and specialty standards.
  • Foster a culture of inquiry that integrates and disseminates research and evidence-based practice.

Leadership in Practice Setting & Community:

  • Lead and coordinate teams, delegate effectively, and collaborate with other members of the inter-professional care team.
  • Exemplify professional behaviors as a representative of the nursing profession.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited nursing program.
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Washington upon hire.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • NRP certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
  • 1 year of experience in Antepartum Nursing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Certification in the relevant specialty upon hire.
