Job Description
As an ICU Senior Nurse, you will work under the supervision of the nurse manager to create an optimal practice environment. You will also assist the nurse manager in overseeing the activities and personnel of the unit to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include planning, organizing, controlling, and coordinating department activities during your shift to ensure efficient and cost-effective service. You must adhere to the ANA Nursing Administration: Scope and Standards of Practice.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License in California
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire
- Experience as a Charge Nurse or Relief Charge Nurse
- At least 2 years of recent clinical experience in the ICU
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Leadership experience
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $165,000.00 - $195,000.00 per year
