Full Time, Evening, Night Shift Available
12 Hour Shifts
Sign-On Bonus of $20,000
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Nurse to serve as a leader of a Nursing Care team in our emergency department. In this role, you will be responsible for providing patient-focused, outcome-oriented care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. You will work closely with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.

Develop appropriate standards of care and create care plans for patients

Provide patient/family health education and involve them in care decisions

Assess and document patient responses to interventions and progress toward desired outcomes

Coordinate patient care activities with other healthcare professionals

Accurately carry out physicians' orders and communicate any necessary clarifications

Promptly communicate any adverse or sudden changes in patients' conditions

Recognize and report adverse drug reactions
-
Assess and manage patients' pain effectively using appropriate interventions

Administer blood and blood products and monitor patients for transfusion reactions

Utilize patient care equipment safely and efficiently

Follow standard precautions and principles of infection control

Achieve stated goals related to job performance
Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited nursing program

Valid Registered Nurse License in the state of Washington

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association

At least 1 year of nursing experience
Ideal Candidate:

Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an acute care unit in an accredited hospital

Availability for day shifts and full-time position

Valid Registered Nurse License
