Hospice Clinical Services Director (RN)

The Director of Clinical Services (DCS) assumes responsibility for overseeing the overall direction of hospice clinical services. The DCS plays a critical role in establishing, implementing, and assessing goals and objectives that align with high quality standards and contribute to the collective mission and values of the organization.

• Must have 3-5 years of recent hospice experience.
• Must have 1-2 years of hospice management experience, such as Clinical Manager, Director of Clinical, Director of Nursing, Patient Care Managers, and similar roles.
• Proficient in planning, budgeting, and maintaining optimal census and staffing ratios.
• Demonstrates expertise in quality assurance and performance improvement, ensuring compliance.
• Solution-oriented with strong adaptability skills.
• Exhibits a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
• Collaborates effectively with colleagues, demonstrates team-building abilities, and serves as a mentor and coach, providing comprehensive training.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program, earning an associate or bachelor's degree in nursing.
• State licensed Registered Nurse.
• Prior experience in a hospice or home care setting, with a minimum of two (2) years of management or supervisory experience. Proven ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary environment.
