Position Summary:

As a Registered Nurse in Neuro/Ortho Inpatient Rehabilitation, you will play an integral role in the rehabilitation process. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive care to patients recovering from various medical conditions, surgeries, or injuries. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, developing and implementing personalized care plans, and creating a supportive and therapeutic environment to optimize recovery.

About the Neuro/Ortho Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit:

Our specialty unit consists of 14 beds.

We are proud to be CARF certified (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities). Our patient population includes individuals who have experienced life-altering events such as stroke, spinal cord injury, amputation, major multi-trauma, femur fracture, brain injury, and neurological disorders (MS, Parkinson's, Guillain-Barré, etc.), as well as those undergoing joint replacements.

Patients must be capable of completing 3 hours of therapy daily and require 24-hour nursing care.

The average length of stay for patients is 1-3 weeks.


  • Educational Requirement: Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice

- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- CRRN (Certification for Rehabilitation for Registered Nurses)
- Stroke Certification
- Neuro Certification
