  • Location: Waterloo, NY (Finger Lakes region).

Summary: We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record in Long-Term Care and experience as a Nurse Manager or Nursing Supervisor.


  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with staff, patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Proficient in management systems and processes, with the ability to establish work relationships and achieve organizational objectives.
  • Analytical skills to assess departmental needs, implement interventions, and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Basic management competencies specific to the assigned position.
  • Ability to handle project management, work under pressure, meet deadlines, manage priorities, and promote teamwork.
  • Familiarity with Department of Health (DOH) requirements.
  • Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint.
  • Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Meditech.
  • The Nurse Administrator is responsible for ensuring uncompromising quality, patient safety, and a positive experience for patients, residents, and their families. This role emphasizes staff development, empowerment, collegial relationships, and best practices in nursing care. The Nurse Administrator allocates resources to ensure efficient, effective, compassionate, and fiscally responsible nursing care. They also coordinate care across departments to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and communication. Additionally, the Nurse Administrator participates in recruitment, selection, and retention of personnel and ensures their appropriate orientation, education, credentialing, and professional development.


  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Professional Nurse Program.
  • Current NYS License to practice as a Professional Registered Nurse.
  • At least two years of Nursing experience or two years of experience in Long-Term Care. Supervisor or management experience is a plus.

About the Facility:

  • The facility has 130 Skilled Nursing beds, 20 Behavioral beds, and one Respite bed for short-term stays.
  • It consists of four units, including two Skilled Nursing units, a neurobehavioral unit, and a secure unit for cognitively-impaired residents. Short-term rehabilitation services are also provided on the Skilled Nursing units.
  • Residents have access to spacious dining and activities rooms, enclosed courtyard and patios, as well as personalized music programs and therapeutic activity programs.
  • The facility also features a restaurant where guests can enjoy a cozy, relaxing meal with their loved ones who reside at the facility.
  • Respite Care is available for families who need temporary relief from caregiving.
