$95,000-125,000 + Benefits + Bonus + Shift Differential
Full-time/Part-time Positions Available
$15,000 Signing Bonus + Comprehensive Relocation Assistance
Full-time, 36 hours per week, Night Shift
Part-time, 24 hours per week, Night Shift
The Pediatric ICU Night Nurse will be responsible for providing patient-centered care in the pediatric intensive care unit. They will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients, considering their physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs. The nurse will collaborate with the healthcare team and communicate effectively with physicians and other departments.

Develop and implement appropriate care plans and interventions

Provide education to patients and families to support their involvement in care decisions and promote healthy behaviors

Assess patients' progress and document changes in the clinical record

Coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members

Carry out physicians' orders accurately and efficiently

Promptly communicate any changes in patients' condition to the appropriate individuals
-
Recognize and report adverse drug reactions
-
Assess and manage patients' pain effectively

Administer blood and blood products and monitor patients for transfusion reactions

Ensure safe and efficient use of patient care equipment

Follow standard infection control procedures

Achieve performance goals as identified
Qualifications:
-
Graduated from an accredited nursing program

Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Alaska

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association

At least 1 year of nursing experience
Ideal Candidate:

Has at least 1 year of recent experience as an RN in an acute care unit in an accredited hospital

Able to work day shift and full-time

Holds a valid Registered Nurse license
