As a Telemetry Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing patient-focused care in a telemetry unit. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care based on their physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, carry out physician orders, and communicate any changes or reactions to the appropriate personnel.

Develop and initiate care plans and interventions based on established standards of care

Provide patient/family health education and involve them in decision making regarding their care

Assess and document patient responses to interventions and progress towards desired outcomes

Coordinate patient care activities in collaboration with the healthcare team

Accurately and efficiently carry out physician orders

Promptly communicate any adverse or sudden changes in the patient's condition to the appropriate personnel

Recognize and report adverse drug reactions

Assess and manage patient pain effectively using appropriate interventions
-
Administer blood and blood products and monitor for transfusion reactions
-
Utilize patient care equipment safely and efficiently
-
Follow standard precautions for infection control in patient care

Achieve stated goals related to job performance
Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited nursing program

California Registered Nurse License upon hire

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
-
National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire

1 year of nursing experience
Ideal Candidate:

Minimum 1 year of recent experience working as an RN in a telemetry department of an accredited hospital

Availability to work day shifts in a full-time position

Active California Registered Nurse License
