This dynamic custom automation engineering design company is currently seeking a full-time, permanent Robotic Automation Programmer Technician. The company specializes in both custom machine building and the production of standard products that are distributed globally. With a close-knit team of six engineers, each individual has the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's projects. Promotions within the company are encouraged and supported.
The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for the following:
  • Interpreting and comprehending engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Resolving issues with robotic and automation equipment
  • Programming various types of robotic automation equipment and systems
  • Developing and integrating vision systems
  • Interpreting and comprehending engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Maintaining accurate documentation as required
  • Contributing to troubleshooting and testing procedures
  • Supervising robotic equipment assemblers
  • Traveling occasionally, up to 20% of the time
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications to be considered for this position:
  • Hold an engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Have a minimum of three years of experience in robotic automation programming
  • Possess a minimum of two years of experience in robotic automation troubleshooting
  • Demonstrate proficiency in programming and integrating robotic automation equipment
  • Exhibit at least two years of experience in programming and integrating vision systems
  • Display a minimum of two years of experience in setting up and integrating robotic automated equipment systems
  • Have a minimum of two years of experience working with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs
  • Possess at least two years of experience utilizing Fronius or SKS for weld equipment integration
  • Be skilled in interpreting and comprehending engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Be able to travel up to 20% as required
  • Demonstrate a strong and consistent work history
  • Be a United States citizen or hold a Green Card
  • Reside within a 45-minute commute of the Brown Deer area
