Safety Consultant (Safety Consulting Firm)
Location: Chicago Area (Local Candidates Only)

A boutique safety consulting firm in the Chicago area is seeking an experienced Safety Consultant to join their team. This role focuses on supporting clients in the development, assessment, auditing, and training of their safety and health programs — with no business development responsibilities.

We are looking for candidates with a background in construction safety, industrial (manufacturing) safety, loss control, or consulting. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be highly proficient with technology and computer applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with the development, evaluation, and enhancement of their safety and health programs.

• Conduct safety audits, assessments, and training sessions on-site at client facilities.

• Prepare professional, well-written reports and recommendations based on site visits and assessments.

• Travel locally throughout the Chicago area to client sites; work from home when not visiting clients.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years of safety experience in construction, manufacturing, loss control, or safety consulting.

• Strong verbal communication and professional writing skills are essential.

• Proficient in using technology and various computer applications.

• Must be a local candidate based in the greater Chicago area.
