MUST HAVE's:

We’re seeking a results-driven Account Manager to drive growth across a defined territory by selling comprehensive service solutions for rotating equipment, including reciprocating compressors, engines, aftermarket parts, and digital solutions. This role is ideal for a consultative seller with a proven track record in the midstream and downstream energy sectors.
The Account Manager will focus on developing new business and expanding existing accounts by delivering tailored solutions and building long-term customer relationships. This position requires a blend of strategic planning, technical knowledge, and hands-on sales execution in a B2B environment.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and qualify potential customers, researching key decision-makers and buying behaviors.

Develop tailored sales strategies and value propositions aligned with customer needs.

Lead the full sales cycle: from prospecting and presentations to price negotiation and contract closure.

Collaborate internally on proposal development, quoting, and reporting to leadership.

Manage and grow existing accounts through strategic account planning, cross-selling, and relationship building.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and competitive intelligence in CRM.

Provide regular market insights, project timelines, and customer feedback to guide strategy.

Maintain a consultative approach to ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technical discipline preferred; Associate degree accepted with relevant experience.

5+ years of experience in B2B sales within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or refining sectors.
- 5+ years’ selling multiple, integrated products and services.

Proven ability to sell complex, integrated services and solutions, especially for rotating equipment.

Strong technical understanding of electric and gas-driven reciprocating compressors.

Experience in industrial safety environments and protocols.

Skilled in creating and managing technical proposals and quotations.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics or similar).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
