Title: Technical Sales Representative
Location: Saint Louis, MO
Job Summary:
The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships by providing pre-sales technical support. This role requires teamwork with Application Engineers to offer tailored solutions to meet customer needs. Developing technical expertise and application skills to identify product opportunities is vital for success in this position.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Establish rapport with customers through sales visits and demonstrate product knowledge and trustworthiness.
- Collaborate with application engineers to effectively handle the demonstration process, ensuring customers' application requirements are met and the value of our products is showcased.
Qualifications/Requirements:
We seek an individual who combines technical expertise with a sales-oriented personality. The ideal candidate should possess a strong engineering background and possess the ability to identify product applications within our line card. Familiarity with automation products including PLC's, Robotics, Sensors, Thermal Systems, Motion Control, AC Drives, Vision, and Bar Code is highly desirable.
A minimum of 5 years of sales experience and a solid understanding of technical products is required for this role (a degree is not necessary). Relevant industry experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Compensation plan: Base salary range of 80k-100k (negotiable) with unlimited commission and bonus opportunities. Total annual earnings potential of 100k++ to 250k++++.
