Sales Executive

Sales Associate sought for our prestigious client located in the heart of the Houston Galleria Area. This role involves proactively selling leading publications and data services focused on the LNG and LPG markets. The sales territory encompasses North, South, and Central America. It offers a salary-plus-commission structure, with set targets.


· Promote and sell business intelligence and data products including prestigious monthly and quarterly analytics, databases, and forecasts.

· Cultivate and nurture relationships with both new and existing customers to address their inquiries, meet their demands, and exceed sales and renewal targets.

· Collaborate with social media and marketing support staff in Houston to develop effective market outreach and prospecting initiatives in order to acquire new prospects and clients.

· Create sales strategies and tactics tailored to the designated sales territory.

· Assist in organizing and promoting periodic client and prospect events (typically 90-minute events featuring industry leaders and networking opportunities), webinars, and other events that serve to market our products and services.


The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A proven track record of B2B sales success in the energy or related field, particularly in the sale of high-value information products.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to effectively manage a large, diverse territory with minimal supervision.
  • Strong skills in lead generation and prospecting.
  • Prior experience in data/IP sales, including an understanding of licensing matters.
  • A systematic approach to sales and account management.

Other requirements:

  • Be willing to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend meetings, and participate in industry conferences.
  • Collaborate with the editorial team to stay well-informed about our products, market trends, and industry developments. Resolve customer queries and provide feedback to the editorial teams.
  • Manage sales-related administrative tasks such as drafting contracts and agreements, as well as updating database information.
  • Work alongside the marketing team to develop impactful campaigns.
