Sales Representative

We are currently seeking a Sales Representative to sell various flat roll carbon steel products and handle client inquiries and concerns within designated accounts or regions. This role will be instrumental in creating and implementing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders. The ideal candidate can be based in any state.

Salary: $65,000-$75,000 + Commission + 12% 401K (potential for 6 figures)

Location: Corpus Christi, TX

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

· Preferred: Bachelor's Degree; or Minimum Three (3) Years Field Sales Experience; or Equivalent Combination of Education and Experience

· Sales Experience in the Manufacturing Industry Required

· Required: Steel Sales Experience

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Demonstrated success in driving sales growth, establishing client relationships, and closing deals.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and budget constraints.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to persuade and influence others.

· Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Willingness to travel extensively (75%+) within the USA for client meetings, industry events, and a flexible work schedule.

RESPOSIBILITIES:

· Identify and reach out to potential customers through various methods to expand customer base and boost sales.

· Create and deliver professional sales presentations by staying up to date with company updates, industry trends, and regulations.

· Prepare accurate quotes and contracts for potential customers, maintaining meticulous documentation with correct pricing and configurations.

· Keep all sales demonstration tools and applications updated and readily accessible.

· Ensure accurate processing of customers' orders and proactively monitor customer needs for uninterrupted availability.

· Provide post-sale customer service as necessary to maintain good relationships and maximize sales opportunities.

· Share relevant information with colleagues to contribute to the company's overall success.
