Sales Representative – Northeast

Location: Boston, MA

The ideal candidate must live in the territory and be located near a major airport. This role involves B2B sales, focusing on coated paper products.

Your Responsibilities:

· Achieve financial goals, including sales dollars, volume, and profit as defined by your manager.

· Manage sales volume with existing customers while actively seeking opportunities for growth and profitability through acquiring new customers.

· Develop an extensive understanding of customers' organizations, processes, suppliers, and end users.

· Effectively communicate the value and benefits of our strategic products.

· Coordinate company resources and collaborate across different business functions to achieve sales objectives.

· Travel to customers' locations to identify their needs and develop solutions to meet those needs, ultimately driving business growth and profitability.

· Initiate contact with potential customers through phone calls or in-person visits to discuss opportunities that may result in new accounts and profitable business.

· Handle general paperwork and administrative tasks associated with sales activity.

· Stay updated on industry trends and developments by attending training sessions, reviewing professional publications, and networking with industry professionals.

· Provide assistance and support to the Regional Sales Manager as needed.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in B2B sales, preferably with a manufacturer generating at least $40 million in annual sales. Experience in the paper products industry is a plus.
  • Strong computer, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Prior sales training is essential for success in this role.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel, with an average of 5-6 nights per month away from home.
  • Ability to entertain customers during and after regular work hours.
