Sales Representative – Pharmacutical Solutions
We are currently seeking enthusiastic candidates for the position of Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist to join our client, a leading industry player in North America and Europe. Our client specializes in providing innovative solutions to hospital pharmacy organizations, with a focus on improving workflow efficiency and optimizing storage space. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for collaborating with the Sales and Marketing Team to drive sales and support business development efforts. This full-time position is based in Pittsburgh, PA, with occasional travel required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Sales and Marketing Manager and Coordinator to develop and execute the North American sales plan.
- Take charge of key accounts, generate leads, and utilize Subject Matter Experts to support sales strategies.
- Participate in trade shows and organize activities aligned with our sales goals.
- Deepen your knowledge of our full product line offerings.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Manager and Marketing Specialist to create effective sales strategies and explore new sales channels for business growth.
- Identify and convert potential leads into long-term clients.
- Engage both new and existing customers to understand their needs and demonstrate how our products provide effective solutions.
- Collaborate with our Austrian counterparts and the Pittsburgh team to support business development initiatives.
- Generate comprehensive sales analytics reports and provide accurate sales forecasting as needed.
- Contribute to the development of marketing collateral and participate in strategy meetings with international colleagues.
- Analyze trade show data and follow up with prospective clients.
- Oversee trade show logistics, including booth design, setup, and tear down.
- Offer valuable input for social media content, case studies, and white papers.
- Manage expenses in accordance with company guidelines.
- Play an active role in strategic planning with senior leadership, while fostering strong relationships internally and externally.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated sales experience with a proven track record (3-5 years).
- Bachelor’s or Associate Degree required, or equivalent experience as a Pharmacy Technician with a background in marketing.
- Ability to coordinate group activities and achieve sales targets.
- Flexibility to work varying hours and travel extensively (40-50%).
Preferred Skills:
- Preference for candidates with international business experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a dynamic and engaging personality.
- Prior sales experience in the medical or healthcare field is highly desired.
- A strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality and a passion for problem-solving.
- Strong leadership and collaborative experience are essential.
