Sales Representative – Pharmacutical Solutions
Our client, a leading company in the healthcare solutions industry, is seeking a Sales Representative to join their Sales and Marketing Team. This is a full-time, exempt position based in Pittsburgh, PA, with 40-50% travel required.
The successful candidate will work out of our Pittsburgh facility, located in the western part of the city. We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including 100% company-paid health, vision, and dental coverage, paid time off, paid holidays, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Manager and Coordinator to develop and execute the sales plan.
- Manage key accounts and generate leads to support sales strategies.
- Participate in trade shows to align activities with sales goals.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of our full product line.
- Work closely with the Sales and Marketing Manager and Marketing Specialist to create sales strategies and identify new sales channels.
- Convert prospective leads into long-term clients.
- Assess customer needs and demonstrate how our products provide solutions.
- Collaborate with Austrian counterparts and the Pittsburgh team for business development efforts.
- Generate sales analytics reports and provide sales forecasting.
- Contribute to joint strategy meetings with international colleagues and assist in the development of marketing collateral.
- Analyze trade show data and follow up with potential clients.
- Oversee trade show logistics, including booth design and setup.
- Provide input on social media content, case studies, and white papers.
- Manage expenses in compliance with company guidelines.
- Contribute to strategic planning and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience with a successful track record (3-5 years).
- Bachelor’s or Associate Degree or equivalent experience as a Pharmacy Technician with a marketing background.
- Ability to coordinate group activities and achieve sales targets.
- Flexibility to work flexible hours and travel extensively.
Preferred Skills:
- International business experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior sales experience in the medical or healthcare field is strongly preferred.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and collaborative experience.
