Our organization is expanding and in search of a skilled Speech Therapist to provide exceptional care for our remarkable clientele.

What is an Educational Speech Therapist?

Educational Speech Therapists are professionals specializing in communication. They are responsible for preventing, evaluating, diagnosing, and offering counseling and rehabilitation for disorders related to speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing.

Job Responsibilities

Offer life-altering treatment, support, and assistance to children and adults experiencing difficulties with communication, eating, drinking, and swallowing. Your role will involve assisting individuals who encounter challenges in speaking and interacting due to physical or psychological reasons.

Some patients may be capable of carrying out other activities but require speech therapy. Additionally, you may be required to educate staff members on the importance and benefits of speech therapy.

License or Certification:
Successful completion of the SLPA certificate by the first day of employment is essential.
Candidates must possess CPR certification, undergo a TB skin test, and possess auto insurance and a valid driver's license.
Education, Training, and Experience:

Minimum Requirement: Completion of an associate degree and/or graduation from a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant certificate program.
Although preferred, prior experience is not mandatory.
