School Based Speech-Language Pathologist, SLP
We currently have a full-time position available in Tuskegee, AL for a School Speech Therapist.
*Qualified H1B candidates who are already licensed in the states are eligible for sponsorship.
Our team is expanding and we are in search of a highly skilled Speech Therapist to provide exceptional care to our amazing patients.
Speech-language pathologists are professionals who specialize in communication. They assist individuals who have disabilities or have undergone traumatic experiences that have affected their speech, voice, or swallowing abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and diagnose speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
- Create and implement effective treatment plans.
- Offer counseling to patients and their families regarding test results and recommended treatment options.
- Establish clear understanding, expectations, and treatment goals with patients.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all patient visits.
- Delegate appropriate tasks to support staff.
- Adhere to state guidelines for communication with staff and external agencies.
- Make referrals to medical specialists in fields such as dentistry or psychology when necessary.
Successful candidate must hold a current SLP certificate prior to the start of employment.
Required certifications include CPR, TB skin test, Auto Insurance, and Driver License.
Education, Training and Experience:
Minimum requirement: Completion of an Associate degree or graduation from a Speech-Language Pathology certificate program.
Prior experience is preferred but not mandatory.
