SECURITIES LITIGATION LAWYER

Seeking an experienced litigator with a deep understanding of securities law. Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 firm, is in search of a skilled Securities Litigation Lawyer to join their highly-regarded Securities Litigation Practice Group. This is an exceptional opportunity to handle high-profile disputes, regulatory matters, and internal investigations for leading technology and life sciences companies. The position is available in various locations, with a preference for either the firm's San Francisco or Silicon Valley office.

Candidate Profile:

• Graduated from a top-tier law school with exceptional academic credentials.

• Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction, or eligibility to sit for/waive into the upcoming bar exam.

• At least 4 years of significant experience in securities litigation.

• Proficient in handling securities class actions, derivative suits, and merger-related disputes.

• Skilled in conducting internal investigations and providing guidance on regulatory and white-collar defense matters.

• Excellent skills in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy.

• Ability to oversee complex cases, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and effectively communicate with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent issuers, directors, and officers in securities class actions, derivative suits, and litigation relating to mergers.

• Conduct internal investigations into allegations of accounting fraud, whistleblower claims, and anti-bribery violations.

• Defend companies and individuals in DOJ and SEC investigations as well as regulatory proceedings.

• Create precise and strategically insightful motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda.

• Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and argue motions in state and federal courts.

• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation.
