REMOTE TAX AND AUDIT SENIOR (Idaho)

Thomas, Head & Greisen is currently in search of an experienced Tax and Audit Senior to join our team. We are looking for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who has 2 to 5 years of public accounting experience and is well-versed in tax and audit procedures. Our company prides itself on providing exceptional client service, with a flexible working schedule of 32 hours per week during the summer and 50+ hours per week during tax season.

Required Skills:

• Holds a valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
• Demonstrates a strong focus on client service
• Possesses excellent accounting, mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and working independently under tight deadlines
• Works effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Exhibits outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Able to assume full responsibility for tax and audit engagements, including planning, delegation, and work review
• Skilled in training, supervising, and developing staff members
• Efficient, accurate, and timely preparation and review of clients' tax returns
• Possesses 2 to 5 years of recent experience in public accounting

The Tax and Audit Senior will play a leadership role in the efficient operations of our tax and audit practice areas. Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive preparation and review of tax returns, as well as planning, delegating, and reviewing audit work. This position also entails overseeing staff members both in the office and in the field, meeting budget expectations, and providing support in audit completion.
