Senior Audit Associate
Our client, a prominent CPA and business advisory firm based in north central Phoenix, is seeking an experienced Senior Audit Advisor to join their team. This role involves managing clients and staff across various industries such as Manufacturing/Retail/Distribution, Restaurants, Construction, Real Estate, and Individual/Estate/Gift.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule and a competitive base salary of up to $90,000 (dependent on experience).

Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site audits, reviews, and compilations
- Generate comprehensive financial statements with complete disclosures
- Plan, oversee, and complete routine engagements
- Supervise accountants of different proficiencies and experience levels
- Establish and strengthen client relationships
- Identify opportunities to offer additional services to clients

Assist with various administrative tasks as required
Background Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting
- CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA designation
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed
- Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Experience in preparing financial statements and income tax returns
- Strong understanding of GAAP and OCBOA principles
- Extensive knowledge of GAAS guidelines
- Familiarity with GAGAS / Yellow Book standards is a plus
- Experience in financial statement compilation with and without notes
- Prior involvement in financial statement audits and reviews
