Job Title: Lead Process Enhancement Specialist

Location: Dubuque, IA

Salary: $70-90K + bonus

Job Summary of the Lead Process Enhancement Specialist: Our company is seeking a Lead Process Enhancement Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing process enhancements. The Lead Process Enhancement Specialist will be a key resource for the organization, providing expert guidance and support in lean-related initiatives.

Qualifications of the Lead Process Enhancement Specialist:

  • Proficient in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Identify and analyze opportunities for process improvement across the organization.
  • Develop and implement robust procedures and instructions based on industry and internal requirements.
  • Investigate quality issues and provide continuous improvement solutions with the support of the Quality team.
  • Lead and facilitate projects to drive improvements as part of our High-Performance Team Board process.
  • Lead the implementation of ISO-9001 quality management systems.

Responsibilities of the Lead Process Enhancement Specialist:

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.

  • 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Process Engineering.
  • Expertise in ISO-9000 and internal auditing.
  • Strong background in CORE, Lean, or Six-Sigma methodologies.
  • Support and implement process improvements in manufacturing, product, and customer quality processes.
  • Utilize expertise to develop and maintain prevention and quality control systems.
  • Facilitate process flow communication and visualization for stakeholders and teams.
  • Build relationships with leadership and team members to drive culture change and influence improvement initiatives.
  • Manage projects with minimal oversight, ensuring objectives are met and risks are mitigated.
  • Design and deliver solutions that add value to the organization.
  • Lead and guide others in achieving operational results.
  • Occasional travel required (10%)
  • Strong communication skills, able to effectively communicate objectives, risks, and opportunities with all levels of the organization.
