Your Responsibilities:
  • Utilize your expertise to program PLC's and HMI's effectively
  • Create and document I/O lists for the control system
  • Program various equipment such as robots, vision systems, laser welding, and leak testers
  • Collaborate closely with the customer to develop and review machine functionality documents
  • Engage and cooperate with Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Design department personnel
  • Dedicatedly troubleshoot and debug automated control systems and machine functions
  • Provide support during machine runoff at the facility or customer's premises to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Produce comprehensive technical machine operating manuals

What You Need:
  • Minimum of five years of experience in the field of machine automation
  • Hold a BS degree in EET, BSEE, or possess equivalent industry experience
  • Experience in pneumatic design and pneumatic distribution systems
  • Proficient in interpreting piping layouts, electrical schematics, and pneumatic schematics
  • Demonstrated ability to develop sophisticated control systems and architecture
  • Proven skills in troubleshooting machinery and reading electrical and pneumatic schematics
  • Thorough understanding of machine safety standards
  • Strong technical writing skills with expertise in producing solid PLC code and ladder logic
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to customer sites
