Senior Financial Analyst
Location: Beachwood, OH
Vacancy Overview:
The Lead Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting executive decision-making by contributing to the creation and maintenance of accurate and dynamic financial analyses and planning models. In addition, they will be responsible for managing operating budgets and acting as the primary contact for the Longview Planning and Reporting function. This position reports directly to the Director of Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
The Lead Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting executive decision-making by contributing to the creation and maintenance of accurate and dynamic financial analyses and planning models. In addition, they will be responsible for managing operating budgets and acting as the primary contact for the Longview Planning and Reporting function. This position reports directly to the Director of Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex data sets to identify, analyze, and interpret sales, margins, and financial trends.
- Evaluate current and historical performance indicators in revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and working capital.
- Assist in enhancing Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan, and Modeling tools.
- Monitor performance indicators, identify trends, and analyze causes of unexpected variance. Provide management with recommendations for improvement.
- Handle ad hoc projects assigned by the CFO and/or Director.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance is a prerequisite.
- Strong organization and communication skills are essential.
- Must possess critical thinking abilities.
- Results-oriented and a collaborative team player.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
- Experience in Power BI development is highly advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently.
